Tell Him
Tell Him, talk to Him, or say something to Him. But how can you do it ? And why do you have to ? If you wanna know whom He is, please check here.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 16:3 that '' Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.'' (NIV)
Also when we read in Philippians 4:6-7 ''6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Proverbs 16:3 tells us to commit everything to God and Philippians 4:6-7 shows us how we can do it. By prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, you present your requests to God. There are things we receive from God by prayer, others by petition and others with only thanksgiving.
In this life, we constantly move from one step to another, or one place to another. You cann't say that you won't move. Either you want it or not, you will move. The questions are: Are you moving forward or backward? and on which speed ?
Normally when you have a trip, you prepare it before, you make your suitcases and so on. But sometimes you don't have time to do so, for example when you are running away. But in all those two cases you travel.
Suppose, you have arranged your travel, planned everything, but it didn't go your way, you will feel upset. Suppose also that, you didn't planed anything, but all things went as if someone has aligned them according to your wish.
Have you ever worried about those kind of things? can you really understand them? Why does something you spend so much time on it fail, and the one you didn't care about, works perfectly? Do you find this fair? Yes, God is always fair, if you are sure He is the author of something, then know that He chose good things for you.
Whether you want to understand it or not just know that human ways are limited. But there is a God in heaven with unlimited ways and that God controls everything under heaven because He owns them, He is the creator.
There is no way to continue being rebellious to someone who is far greater than you. Just commit all your acts to Him and He is ready to guide you. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
He takes pleasure when you live a happily life because that was His objectif in creation. Let us trust Him because we are not only giving Him a service but we are the ones benefiting from it. It is for our benefit that He made it so. He doesn't get pleasure in seeing us suffering.
Just remember that the devil is doing everything he can, to make us suffering and becoming rebellious to our God.
How can we surrender everything to Him and let Him alone manage our life?
I don't know how your life has been, may be because of many betrying close friends and family members , you ended up not trusting anybody. Yes, it happens.
Just think of somebody that is very close to you and that you love so much, even if may be you don't have that person right now, but dream of the one you wish to have. That person, when you are not close to him/her physically but your heart is always close to him/her.
Suppose, he/she asks you a service, you won't refuse it even when you are unable to do it, you will try your best to do it. Suppose you see that he/she is acting wrongly, you will try hard to resonate him/her.
I want you to place God in your place and you place yourself as that person. That's a shadow of God's love to you and to me! Our God loves us so much, but our naked eyes and our human minds can not see and understand it.
At the beginning I told you that , sometimes you don't plan things and they go as if you have planned them very well. so who does that? Who arranges them?
Our God with His overflowing love, orders His angels to assist and do everything. When we see the results, we think that we are very smarts and we don't even thank Him.
When things don't go our way, its because, He doesn't want us to fall into a big hole and He puts them away from us for our benefit.
He is a loving father. Let us trust in Him, talk to Him as our loving and caring father not as a strict instructor . Let us approach Him as our loving father and let us open our hearts to Him. Let us tell Him everything from our hearts and let us take time to talk to Him.
He really loves us and needs us to ask Him advices for everything we want to do, for every step we want to take.
Because He sees far than us, and because He can foresee things before they happen, He is the best advisor we can ever have. And with His advices we will reach far without any kind of regret but instead full of praises.
