Why me Lord? Why me?

Why me Lord? why me? It's a question that we mostly ask not loudly when facing difficulties in life, but it sounds inside of us as if it is very loud.
When we are in trying times, it seems like we are the only ones having hard times. But the Bible in Ecclesiastes 3:15 tells us that whatever is , has been and whatever will be has already been. We go through things that others faced before and some will go through them after us. In 1 Corinthians10:13, the Bible says that God can not try us more than what we can bear.
This question '' why me Lord? Why me? '' is also a sincere question, asked from a sad and broken heart, often through cries. It is always asked when faith is down and is asked by people who believe in God.
Temptations are part of our life, but when your faith is down, it's hard to overcome them in a good way, it means as a conqueror. However they are there only for a certain period of time. And after that time, you may be out of them but not as a conqueror.
I can not encourage or discourage people to ask this question. It depends on their level of spiritual growth.
The Bible in Jeremiah 17:10 asks us to be true with God, because He sees inside of us. He is a loving father of us. He knows what we are going through and with whom we are fighting. He always has a way out of temptations. He just needs us to call upon His name and to have strong faith in Him.
Many times in the Bible, God asks us to never be afraid, because He already knows that there are a lot of things that will make us afraid but all those things don't have to put us down. Our God is bigger than any giant we can fight with, bigger that any mountain that we can or can not see! Let us not look on the mountains of problems that the devil decorated and placed in front of us. Instead of that, let us look upon our caring and loving heavenly father!
The Bible tells us that the walls of Jericho were tall and strong, but srounding them 7 times with God's presence and power in their midst made them fall down. Our problems seem very big and we don't see a solution yet, but with God's presence and power in us, we are able to overcome them. We just need to recognize the one inside of us and at the end, we will shout alleluia.
The same Bible tells us that Egyptians followed Israelites and even dare to follow them in the red sea but all those who followed them remained in the red sea. Our problems will not cross over with us. We will reach our destiny and they will stay down behind us. Do't be afraid, they don't have the staff to part the sea into two parts, The staff belongs to us and we are the only ones to use it.
I wanna encourage you that whatever you are going through, is temporaly. It is just a way of the devil to make you lose your faith, and take your eyes off the Lord! Never pay attention to his lies! keep being calm and remember whom your God is, what He first did in your life. Yes, He is faithful to His word. He will never leave you nor forget you. A woman can forget her nursing baby but our heavenly father can never forget us. He never sleeps, nor slambs. Whatever He promised to us, He will surely do it.
Why is following Christ so difficult?
The Bible in Revelation 12:7-17 tells us more about our everyday fight as christians. Because of the devil, we don't get rest.
A christian is a follower of Christ and the christians don't belong to this world. They are passengers heading to heaven. Jesus before leaving this world, He told His disciples that He is going to prepare a place for them, a place where they will live because where He will live also them will be.
The world and it's king hates us because we are different from them. We don't waste our time and energy on worldly things. We know that one day they will pass away, we are looking for eternal things, far better than those ones here in the world.
With the love of God inside of us, we try hard to teach our friends, relatives and so on, about our future destiny so that they can also join us in this journey of believers.
Satan and his acolytes are fighting us so that we do not leave them, so that we do not warn or tell others about our salvation.
And with so much zeal, from the Holy Spirit, the one we have been given as a guaranty of the things to come, we don't stop.
They persecute us, they kill us but we can not hide the truth. We don't care too much about our bodies that will die, we care too much about the soul that will never die. We will have new bodies similar to the one that Christ will have.
How christians should deal with difficulties
The answer here is just very simple in one way, but complex in another way. You just have to love God!
If you love God, you will try your best to know Him, to have a good relationship with Him and to spend more time with Him. As long as you really know God, and as long as you have a good relationship with Him, I tell you the truth, you will never be afraid and you will not lose faith, so then you can not ask yourself this kind of question.
In my next post, I will talk more about good relationships with God. About knowing God, you can check this post of mine here.
I always share books, that can help you to understand more the topic.
