Who is Jesus Christ to you?

Who is Jesus Christ? It's a popular question. In Bible, we see Jesus himself asking this question to his disciples, in mark 8:27. It's now your turn in Mark 8:29, according to you, who is Jesus?

Your answer may differ from mine because of different facts of our lives. I have more things to say about my Jesus. I always call him my Jesus. Of cos I know that he is our Jesus! But he is mine and I'm his. There is no any sin to love your God and feel very close to him. He is mine because there are others who don't recognize his love to them, that's why I don't want my Jesus to be taken anyhow!

Yes, I have a lovely Jesus, a best friend that I've never been able to have in my life! A kind person, who has always something good to me, some kind words to make me calm down when I can't keep calm! That scarce person, who will keep your secret, no matter what! Oh my Jesus, that very close friend whom I know he will never defeat me! What else can I say? Let me tell you the Jesus who wipes away my tears, who gives me joy back when I'm very sad, who makes me forget those betraying friends and hard times in life. Yes, my Jesus, the one and only one whom I know that I can lean on. The one who never gets tired of me....Nooo, words are not enough to express whom He is to me! Yes, I have many to say about my Jesus, may be you too.

Let us also search the scriptures and see whom He is according to the Holy Bible.

In John 10:30, Jesus says that he is one with his father. As he calls God his father, it means that he is His son. God confirmed it in Matthew 3: 17 When Jesus got baptizeed by John, God's voice came from heaven saying that he is his son, whom he loves and who brings him great joy.

By saying that he is one with the father, it also means that they are united, they make one together with the Holy Spirit, they are not two or three. The bible tells us two persons who become one when united. A man and his wife. In a family, we see that a man can take decisions, so does his wife. Legally they are equal. But the man and his wife have to contact each other when taking big decisions. That's an example to help you understand this verse.

Jesus is one with God, his father. In different ways, he can represent God without any problem, because they are one. In other words Jesus is God. Because you can worship Him! in John 20:28 Thomas said to Him that he is his Lord and his God. Thomas was the disciple of Jesus, and he is calling him his Lord and God. A disciple of Jesus, we are also disciples of Jesus, and if Thomas can call him his Lord and God, we can also do the same. Remember the Bible says the truth. Every word in it, is from God.

In John 14:6 Jesus himself says that he is the way and the truth and the life. And that no one can go to the Father except through him. To understand this better, you can read in Clossians 2:9-10. This verse says that in Jesus Christ lives all the fullness of the Deity and that he has the greatest power and authority.

Because of the cross, we have been purchased and recieved the right to become the children of God. the heirs of heaven as Christ. Jesus says that we are his brothers and sisters in Mark 3: 35.

There are a lot to say about Jesus as he is our redeemer, he plays a major role in our lives. To know him deeper , I would like to recommend you some books.
